Sponsoring its own dragon boat racing team since 2001, Big Fish Interactive practices what it teaches!
Significant History:

  • 2001: Big Fish takes over sponsorship from TRI and quickly moves into high performance results.
  • 2004: First regatta win.
  • 2004-2007: Consistent top 6 at events of 150+ teams
  • October 2006: Big Fish DB Crew introduces dragon boating to Trinidad and helps organize the country's first festival!
  • 2006, 2007: Big Fish female teammates contribute to the Canadian Women's Team, winning 2 back to back world championships!
  • 2008 Season: Having several members retire at the end of '07, Big Fish merges with high performers from UCC. Name Change to Big Fish Killer Koi. Stay tuned for an exciting season.

The Big Fish dragon boat team wrapped up its best season ever and is prepping for the World Championships in July 2010:
  • May 30, 2nd place
  • June 6, 7th place out of 100
  • June 6, 1st place industry cup
  • June 6, 1st place industry cup
  • June 20-21, Toronto Island, 3rd place out of 180 teams
  • July 18, 4th place
  • August 23, qualified for 2010 World Championships in Macau, China!
  • September 12-13, 2nd place (out of 160 teams) GWN season final.
